Security Overview

At Tool SEO Kit, we take security seriously. While we provide free tools without requiring user registration, we ensure that the infrastructure supporting these tools is built on modern security practices.

Data Transmission

All traffic between your browser and our servers is encrypted using standard TLS/SSL. We enforce HTTPS across the entire platform to protect data in transit.

Infrastructure

Our application is hosted on Vercel, a leading enterprise-grade platform. We benefit from their robust edge network, DDoS protection, and continuous infrastructure security monitoring.

No Sensitive Data Storage

Because our core tools (like the AI Search Checker) operate statelessly or with minimal temporary caching, we do not store sensitive user data, passwords, or credit card information.

Our crawler

When someone scans a site, we fetch its pages. Our requests identify themselves:

Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; ToolSEOKitBot/1.0; +https://www.toolseokit.com/security)

We read robots.txt before fetching anything and honour Disallow rules for ToolSEOKitBot and for *. If a page is disallowed we do not request it, and the scan returns an explanation instead of a report. The same check is applied to every additional page a scan looks at, not just the one submitted.

To exclude us entirely, add this to your robots.txt:

User-agent: ToolSEOKitBot
Disallow: /

A scan reads only publicly available pages. It does not attempt to log in, submit forms, or reach anything behind authentication. One scan fetches at most six pages, and requests are rate limited.
